ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University has received a grant to purchase a piece of equipment that will enhance research and science education on campus. The nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer will be purchased thanks to a $52,991 Research and Development Innovation Grant from the South Dakota Board of Regents. The grant covers half the cost of the machine, with the other half paid through matching funds.
FARGO – Senator John Hoeven today helped break ground on Midco’s new Tier III data center in Fargo. The $12 million facility is expected to be completed and operational in 2018, the first center of its kind in the region. It will provide secure data services, such as website hosting and data storage, which are crucial to many modern businesses. TEMPE, AZ — The beautiful St. Mary Church, one of Tempe’s most significant landmarks dating back to its construction in 1903, is the new home of the University of Mary campus in the Valley of the Sun. In partnership with All Saints Catholic Newman Center and Arizona State University, the University of Mary will use the historic St. Mary’s Church as its new base of operations in Tempe. The facility includes a classroom, reception area and administrative offices downstairs as well as the restoration of the upstairs into a place of prayer and study for use by all students.
