Reporter hired to cover North Dakota for Forum News Service
BISMARCK — Jeremy Turley, a journalist with experience covering government, immigration and economics, will join Forum News Service next month as a state correspondent.
Turley will cover a wide-range of news stories, including state government, for Forum News Service, a wire service owned and operated by family-owned Forum Communications Co.. The company owns five newspapers in the state: The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead, Grand Forks Herald, Jamestown Sun, Dickinson Press and West Fargo Pioneer.
He attended the University of Missouri and has worked for the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, Columbia Daily Tribune and the Columbia Missourian. As a reporter, he's written about government on the local and state levels, and also has experience covering sports and entertainment.
"It is my great honor and privilege to provide North Dakotans with news they can use and stories of their neighbors," Turley said.
He will replace John Hageman, who will be leaving Forum Communications' bureau in Bismarck this week for Minnesota.
