Hunt promoted at BCBSND
FARGO, N.D. — Kari Hunt has been promoted to manager of district sales for eastern North Dakota at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota.
In her role, Hunt is responsible for managing sales activities within the eastern side of North Dakota in the small and mid-sized employer group market for all lines of business.
Hunt joined BCBSND in 2008 as a sales and account executive in the Devils Lake service office.
A native of Devils Lake, N.D., Hunt holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D.
Flint Group hires Schmidt
FARGO, N.D. – Flint Group, a communication and marketing agency, has hired Makenzie Schmidt as an account manager to serve the company’s network of Midwest offices.
Schmidt earned her bachelor’s degree in strategic communications and her master’s degree in business administration from North Dakota State University. She worked as marketing coordinator for NDSU’s Department of Transportation, Logistics, and Finance for the College of Business before joining Flint Group.
Bethany’s Bryn named an activity professional of the year
FARGO, N.D. – Vanessa Bryn, community life coordinator in the Willow Lane Memory Care Unit at Bethany on University, has been selected a 2019 Activity Professional of the Year by the North Dakota Long Term Care Association.
She was honored at the association’s recent Spring Convention in Bismarck, N.D.
Bryn began working as a community life coordinator at Bethany on University in 2005. She previously worked as both an activity assistant and in dining services in a Grand Forks nursing home, where she served in the dementia unit.
Bryn graduated from the University of North Dakota with a bachelor’s degree in recreation and leisure. She is certified as a therapeutic recreation specialist and is also certified through the Activity Professional Board.
KLJ hires two
BILLINGS, Mont. – Engineering firm KLJ has hired Eric Ler and Harrison Fuson in the company’s Billings office.
Ler joins KLJ as an engineer working with the construction management team. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Montana State University in Bozeman.
Fuson also comes to KLJ as an engineer. He earned his bachelor’s degree in construction engineering technology from Montana State University in Bozeman.
