Aldevron names director of industrial project management
FARGO, N.D. – Lance Monilaws has been promoted by Aldevron to be director of industrial project management. In this position, Monilaws will direct large capital projects with emphasis in facility expansion, renovation and campus planning. He will also manage various operational initiatives and strategies, including but not limited to construction and industrial technology, Aldevron reports.
Before joining Aldevron, Monilaws served as a project manager for Essentia Health, where he managed capital IT, new construction and expansion projects. Since starting with Aldevron, Monilaws has worked closely with IT and Finance on projects and most recently oversaw the construction of Aldevron’s Building 1, the largest cGMP plasmid DNA manufacturing facility in the world.
Monilaws earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mayville State University.
KLJ hires two in Fargo
FARGO, N.D – Engineering firm KLJ has hired Lisa Messner and Travis Wilson in the firm’s Fargo office.
Messner joins KLJ as a CAD technician. She has an associate degree in architectural drafting from North Dakota State College of Science.
Wilson comes to KLJ as a human resource generalist. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in human resources from the University of Mary.
S.D.’s interim secretary of education appointed as permanent secretary
MADISON, S.D. – Gov. Kristi Noem recently announced that interim Secretary of Education Ben Jones has been appointed as the permanent secretary.
The former dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Dakota State University, Jones began serving in the state office in January. He had been dean at Dakota State since 2013.
Judy Dittman, associate provost/title III director, will continue to serve as interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
Stinson joins Anchor Marketing
GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Darren Stinson has joined Anchor Marketing recently announced the addition of Darren Stinson as itsas the company’s newest account manager.
Before joining Anchor Marketing, Stinson served as president of Ideal Aerosmith, a leading manufacturer of motion test solutions. At Ideal Aerosmith, he oversaw both quality management and the company's human resources department.
Wilson hired as executive vice president at Edgewood Healthcare
GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Edgewood Healthcare recently named Jill Wilson as executive vice president of business development.
Wilson has most recently been administrator of clinical operations at Altru Health System. In her new role Wilson will work closely with Edgewood’s senior living operations team, including leading the company’s sales and marketing efforts, as well as continuing to grow Edgewood’s CaringEdge Healthcare Services division.
Wilson earned a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of North Dakota and an MBA from Ohio University.
