Prairie Business announces 2017 50 Best Places to Work contest
Prairie Business magazine is proud to announce its 2017 contest to celebrate the "50 Best Places to Work" on the northern Plains.
For the fourth year in a row, Prairie Business will accept nominations from employees and, in the September issue, will name the top 50 businesses. The top 25 small companies with 99 or fewer full-time employees, and the top 25 large companies with 100 or more employees will be honored.
Companies will be nominated through an anonymous employee survey that outlines work environment, employee benefits and employee morale. The number of nominations received per company will also be considered.
"The upper Midwest has not only great people and great communities, but also great places to work," said Tom Dennis, editor of Prairie Business.
"It's a treat to honor those firms that stand out in this already high-performing crowd. And the fact that the nominations come from employees themselves really highlights the terrific culture, competence and friendliness of these companies."
The contest is open to for-profit companies in the magazine’s readership area, which includes North and South Dakota as well as western Minnesota.
The nomination form will be available on the magazine's website, PrairieBusinessMagazine.com, starting on Monday, June 12. Nominations will close a month later on Wednesday, July 12.
