Essentia Health welcomes nurse practitioner in Fargo
Nurse Practitioner James Upton has joined the Interventional Radiology Department at the Essentia Health-32nd Avenue Clinic in Fargo, N.D.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Upton worked as a registered nurse in the Interventional Radiology department.
He earned a doctorate degree in nursing from North Dakota State University in Fargo, N.D. He is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Bismarck Aero names new director of FBO operations and marketing
Shae Helling has been promoted to director of FBO operations and marketing at Bismarck Aero Center.
Shae, a native of Alexander, N.D., has been with Bismarck Aero Center for five years, where he progressed from marketing intern to now leading a team of aircraft refueling experts.
As a University of Mary graduate, Shae has a bachelor’s in marketing and business administration and a masters in project management. While in school, he was awarded the University of Mary Presidential Award and the 2012 Marv Borgelt Award for outstanding senior in the School of Business.
Along with his work now, Shae volunteers with the Young Professionals Network and with the Bismarck/Mandan Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter.
Bismarck Aero is one of the region’s largest aircraft maintenance, avionics and aircraft fueling facilities.
Two earn professional engineering licenses
BISMARCK, N.D. – Matt Isley and Nick Jackson, engineers at KLJ, an engineering firm, have earned their professional engineering licenses.
Isley earned his PE license in Montana. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University in Fargo, N.D.
Isley works in the Structural group in KLJ’s West Fargo, N.D., office. He’s also licensed in Minnesota and North Dakota.
Jackson earned his PE license in North Dakota. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Iowa State University. Jackson works in the Municipal group in the Valley City, N.D., office.
